Main Aur Mrs Khanna may have fizzled out at the box-office but its leading man Salman Khan isn’t moping over the film’s failure. He’s got something big coming up. London Dreams, a musical by director Vipul Amrutlal Shah, that has Salman teaming up with his Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam co-star Ajay Devgan again. Asin is the common love interest between the two in the film.

At a video press conference to promote the film earlier this week, Salman was his usual witty self while taking questions from mediapersons.

“My name is Manu in the film. He’s obnoxious, crude, vulgar, and a flirt. I don't know if I can relate to somebody like that…He's all heart. And the film's shaped up well…London Dreams has high romance, high energy. I would call it a musical Sholay,” Salman said about his role and the film.

In the movie he plays a musician from Punjab. He’s got talent but no opportunity to translate it into fame. Ajay Devgan, who wasn’t at the press conference, plays his friend who has means to strike fame but isn’t as talented as Manu.

Speaking about his chemistry with Devgn in the film, Salman said: “We've known each other a very long time. He won't bitch. He’s a no bullshit kinda person. He keeps to himself. But he's always playing pranks. He's a funny guy. Ajay even pulled a prank on Asin.”

Speaking about her role, Asin said her character in the film has a few similarities to her real self.

“I'm glad to have been chosen for the role of Priya. There are a few similarities. She's a south Indian. I relate to her because she grows up in London, but is born to Iyer parents. She has a desire to express herself through dance, which is quite similar to my passion. However, she doesn't get the opportunity to do so at home. So she rebels and gets a rock chick look,” Asin revealed.

‘London Dreams’ is set for release on October 30.
